Human Resources Staff
Kaelene Arvidson-Hicks- Director of Human Resources
Kaelene Arvidson-Hicks, Director of Human Resources, helps the District hire staff for all positions. All benefits are administered through HR such as enrollments, membership changes and questions related to health, dental, life, retirement, long-term disability, unemployment, workers compensation and working conditions. As the District Non-discrimination Officer, she assists administrators with matters of harassment, bullying and discrimination complaints from students and staff.
Kathy Stuart - Secretary
Kathy works with our teacher/administrative staff to obtain and/or renew their DPI licensure. She maintains employee management records to remain current and up to date. She helps coordinate all Administrative and Teacher staff postings, coordinates interviews, processes new hires, tracks retirements and issues teacher and co-curricular contracts. She processes substitute teacher applications, maintains the files and helps facilitate substitute teacher orientations. She completes required annual reports for the office of Human Resources.
Sue Sanda - Secretary
Sue handles the daily operation of all substitutes and their payroll for all teachers in the district. She works with Kaelene on all support staff postings, interviews, new hires, retirements, or resignations along with their seniority lists. She assists with all communication to support staff with letters, memos, and job descriptions. In addition, Sue is backup for the front desk and support for ID pictures, work permits, and other duties of the front desk.
Erin Gray- Receptionist/Secretary
Erin is the receptionist at the Administrative Offices and the first person you see or speak with when you visit the building. Erin also assists the HR department with various duties as needed. A few of her main responsibilities are: Workers’ Compensation, Every Student Succeeds Act course enrollment, Special Education Assistant Licensure tracking, Evaluation lists, maintain the support staff substitute list, and handle employee photo ID badges.
